First I have to apologize for not blogging in last few weeks. I have had so much to do, since my family came here! House full of crazy Finns, can that be a good thing? Yes :) We have had lots and lots of fun, new experiences and of course we have met few of the most wonderful people on Earth!

We are leaving the house in an hour, and there is still some packing to do, but I decided to update my blog and tell you some things. I have done things I think I would never have done in Finland: horseback riding, flying on small airplane, archery, every rollercoaster in an amusement park, and seeing two cats give birth, just for example.

Thanks everybody for the best summer so far, I want to come back as soon as possible! Love you all♥

Okay, so now I am 16, doesn't feel very different... But heeeeeeey everybody thanks for the best birthday party ever :)

I got up at 11:07am (I really didn't mean to!) and just went downstairs and felt normal etc., ok I promised to mention that Will was the first one to say happy birthday to me in person :D then we went just grocery shopping to Union City and had lunch and then! Me, Rebecca, Will and Dave went putt putt golfing to the Lake Pleasant golf course, and that was the first time to go minigolfing in real life! Will said it would be awesome that I got hole-in-one on the 16th hole.... AND IT HAPPENED! I was so amazed, and it was sooooooo cool!

When we came back, I just practised few songs with guitar and singing for the night and after that the party was ready to begin. We had dinner, sprayed our hair (I've got lots of pictures!), they sang to me and we had cake, we had fireworks, and I sang three songs and people seemed to like that (: then I also got presents, a hoodie, two cds, a notebook, stickers, fuzzy socks etc. :) after everybody had left, me and Will stayed outside and roasted marchmellows until midnight, that was fun! Thanks everybody!

What about the title of this blog entry? When I had done my singing, Will (him again :D) came and told me it was epic, and Vicki said that I should name my blog entry that.

And yes, I finally video blogged again! I can't believe how horrible my Finnish is... I can't get the video blog entry and pictures here, I'll have to send them later today, now I'm going to go to sleep...

This week has been so busy!

I was staying on a farm quite near Pittsburgh from Monday till Thursday, and those days were like from a movie. Seriously, that couldn’t be true: seven kids, well five small kids running and playing and torturing cats, the most beautiful farm and days filled with stuff to do. Also their neighbors had many children and I got to meet two families. We went to have ice cream, saw Toy Story 3 and Up and we had picnic. Those days were just wonderful. Thank you the Anderson family!

Plus when we were driving back, we got our heat record of the summer: 113 F in Mercer, PA! The whole week was quite hot.

Yesterday (it was Friday) we were going to go to the zoo in Erie, but when we went to the car, it started raining so heavily and it started thundering. We (me, Helen, Rebecca and Will) drove all the way to Erie but decided to think of plan B: lunch at Eatin Park, movie called Despicable Me and ‘italian ice’ at Rita’s.

Today, on my last day as 15-year-old, we spent the whole day in an amusement park called Waldameer and in the waterworld. Day full of rollercoaster rides, slides, sunbathing – and burnt skin. Before leaving, I got an airbrush tattoo on my leg, haha it is so awesome (: Thanks for awesome day everybody!

Ps. It is still July 10th in here, not yet my birthday!
And yes I had a top on when I took that photo :P

AND OH MY GOSH when I went to my room to take my camera back, I almost had a heart attack when I opened the door! The whole ceiling was full of balloons :DD I'll put a picture of it later!

The Last Airbender

Me, Rebecca and Hannah were watching this movie called "The Last Airbender" today. I really really liked it, very basic fantasy story but I liked the fighting scenes and everything, special effects were awesome!

And guess what is the best thing? It comes to Finland in September!! Haha, then I can spoil the story... No, the best thing was that it was the first movie I've seen in English without subtitles and understood everything. I was so happy!

Today we were visiting Meadville! We went to look for matresses and bed frames for the new rooms in the basement, but decided to buy them later.... from this kind of store called Big Lots, they just have everything there. For quite good prices! Helmi, if you are reading this, you must be very proud of your big sister, who bought purple fake Raybans today!!

Then we went to eat... (I ate catfish and it was gooooood!) and when we came back, Dave decided that we are going to get those matresses! That's just what he would do.... "I want to make every day an adventure!" Luckily I don't have claustrophobia! See picture below!

On the way home we saw some traffic sign art, it was so cool :) (click picture to see larger image)

Little bit about music

I just experienced a huge tragedy two days ago, when I lost all my music from my iPod, I know that I fail way too often! But I'll survive.... with the four CDs I bought from here. They have too many great albums to choose from here! In every store I find great music, especially metal, that I'd like to buy!

I've heard a lot about "blue grass music" but no one can explain to me what kind of music it is, so I'll just have to listen to it. Maybe tonight I would listen to it, when I first stop listening to Periphery, they are just pure awesomeness!

But back to subject, they describe blue grass that it would be something between folk and country, so sounds interesting, but hey, am I able to say I won't listen to it, when I usually listen to metal and jazz mixed together?

Have you ever accidentally started speaking your first language when no one will understand it? I can say, that is quite awkward...

AND DID YOU KNOW, cops really tell you your rights when they are arresting you or something?! (No I didn't get that experience, I was just told that, I have been behaving very well here! :D)

I have been learning new words every day! Even it sounds quite ridiculous! I am asking people stuff all the time and I don't think that they get frustrated or anything... But like yesterday, we went to this restaurant and I was asking everybody all the time "What is that? What does that mean?" and finally found something nice to eat! (6" meatball sub, haha!)
